Our Story
We know the pull of working from a sun-drenched villa in Italy or France — pool included. We also know the reality: internet that drops mid-call, a kitchen chair standing in for a real desk, one laptop screen where you're used to three, and a group chat full of logistics questions nobody has time to answer. We started Workationstay to close that gap — because we believe a real change of scenery can unlock a team's best thinking, without any of the usual compromises between beautiful and productive.
What We Do
We hand-pick every villa ourselves — for the light, the layout, the location, and yes, the pool — and then we make sure it actually works for a working team. Fast, reliable internet. Real desks. Extra screens where you need them. We manage the planning, the logistics, the meals — all the details that usually eat up your time. Hand it off completely if that helps, or lean on us for just a piece of it. We're open to help wherever it's useful. Because a workation isn't only about getting work done. It's about your team reconnecting — sharing meals, having real conversations, laughing about something other than the roadmap — and coming back stronger for it. That's the whole point. We just make sure the desk chair doesn't get in the way.
Why Southern Europe
Nowhere combines the climate, culture, food, and scenery quite like Italy and France. Long lunches, golden light, mountains and coastlines within reach — this is where teams naturally slow down enough to actually connect. The one thing this region never had was the high-tech setup remote teams actually need. So that's exactly what we bring. Work well. Connect well. Stay in the flow.
